3 Days Tsavo East And West National Park

Begin your journey in Tsavo East National Park, renowned for its sweeping plains, striking red elephants, and the scenic Galana River. Enjoy game drives in search of lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and herds of elephants roaming against the backdrop of the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flows.

Continue to Tsavo West National Park, known for its dramatic scenery of volcanic hills, lush springs, and rich wildlife. Visit the Mzima Springs, a beautiful oasis fed by underground streams from Mount Kilimanjaro, where hippos and crocodiles can be observed in crystal-clear waters. The park also offers excellent chances to spot leopards, rhinos, and other big game.

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East

Early morning drive to Tsavo East National Park. Commence the morning game drive through this largest park, with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Leopard, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species. Check in as well lunch at the lodge. After lunch, relax. The afternoon will hold yet more game drives.  Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge/ Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West

After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive en route to  Tsavo West National Park. Check in the lodge for lunch, after lunch relax.  In the afternoon, visit Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to search the rare black rhino. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Valley Lodge or Kilaguni Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Mombasa

Depart  the Lodge after breakfast and proceed to the famous Mzima Springs where some 250 litres of water gush out of the Chaimu Lava flows per minute everyday creating a scenic home to fat pods of hippos and crocodile infested pools.  Make last game drive whilst cheking out of the park. Drive to Voi town for lunch. After lunch drive back to your hotel arriving in the evening.
